ADVENTURING: Thru-Hiking Basics

    This class is designed to give the prospective Pacific Crest Trail, John Muir Trail, or Appalachian Trail hiker and backpacker a solid foundation for planning a trip on the trail. We'll teach you the logistics behind a hiking or backpacking trip. We'll focus on trip planning skills for day hikes, section hikes, and thru hikes. Learn some basic resources and tips to get you started on your trip planning and the journey of a lifetime.

    The High Line is teaming up with REI to offer free classes that celebrate the world of outdoor adventuring. Bring your thirst for learning and your love for nature and we provide the rest!
