Each year, Friends of the High Line creates fun and innovative opportunities for people all ages to experience the park in a new way. Through public programs, Friends of the High Line encourages community engagement with and stewardship of the High Line.
Through fun and informative walking tours, visitors have the opportunity to learn about the High Line's history, its design, public art program, and unique horticulture. With the High Line as a point of departure, a series of expert-led talks, offer participants an insight into New York City history, urban planning, and the complexities of the built and natural environment.
