ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Carte Blanche Performance is a Brooklyn-based contemporary dance company that creates sensual, joyful works in nontraditional spaces, inviting the audience to permeate the performer's space.
THE DANCE CARTEL proposes a new dance experience: with an extreme-dance emphasis on endurance and technical rigor, they employ the social nature of dance and the sharpness of a music video to create a fresh, vibrant and inclusive dance community.
Jordan Eagles is a New York based artist who preserves, encases, layers and suspends blood, which he then illuminates. The materials and luminosity in his bodies of work relate to themes of life, death, spirituality, science and equality.
Merche Blasco is an interdisciplinary artist and composer whose practice includes building instruments for electronic music performance, orchestrating participatory sound performances in public spaces, and electroacoustic improvisation.
Rob Roth is a multiplatform and multimedia artist and director. He uses theater, film, audio, and performance to create richly textured, lyrical and mysterious works with a critical eye on our culture.
Yael Acher "KAT" Modiano is a multi-genre flutist, composer, and educator. She works as a soloist and bandleader within classical, contemporary, and Jazz, and creating live soundtracks for films and dance
Ursula Scherrer is a Swiss multimedia and video artist living in New York City. She transforms spaces and landscapes into serene, abstract portraits of rhythm, color and light.
