Partial re-opening: Crews have cleared the High Line's paths, and the park is open to the public between 16th and 23rd Streets. We are working to open the remainder of the park as soon as possible, as crews clear snow and ice from the park's pathways. Please check back or follow @highlinenyc on Twitter for updates.

Our Favorite Lunch Spot

EnlargeMidday high-lining.

It's a toss-up between the lower level of the Chelsea Market Passage (pictured) and the 10th Avenue Square. But on days like today, we love to eat lunch and take a break on the High Line.

Did you know that Friends of the High Line Members get discountsat select food shops and restaurants? Check out Chelsea Market and stop by L'Arte del Gelato for a cold treat, Lucy's Whey for local cheese selections, Amy's Bread for a yummy sourdough sandwich, or The Lobster Place for fresh sushi to-go. If you can't make it to Chelsea Market, try an organic salad from The Simple Kitchen on West 17th Street or a tasty sweet from Three Tarts on 9th Avenue.

With budding flowers and fresh green grass, spring has sprung on the High Line! Come up and enjoy the sunshine with an afternoon treat.
