Congrats to Our High Line Food Photo Contest Winner

“Decisions, decisions,” Rhesa Storms tweeted to accompany her #shareameal photo submission. Photo by Rhesa Storms.

This is the first season that you can enjoy both sweet and savory food offerings at the High Line.

To celebrate the moments made possible by delicious food, great company, and a one-of-a-kind public space, we asked you to share your photos with us on Twitter and Instagram using the hashtag #shareameal.

The winner in July was Rhesa Storms, who took an adorable photo of her young friend peering over the edge of Melt Bakery’s cart on the High Line.

“It was an incredibly hot day, and my little guest in this picture was having a hard time deciding on a flavor – they were all so tempting – and just at eye level!” Rhesa divulged. “Fortunately, I had my camera with me.”

For her winning submission, Rhesa has received a $50 gift certificate to Terroir at The Porch, our open-air café serving wine, beer, and small plates on the High Line at West 15th Street.

After contacting Rhesa on Twitter to tell her she won our contest, we found out that she happens to be a regular at the High Line. If you don’t catch her cashing in her certificate at Terroir at The Porch, you may see her showing around friends or grabbing an ice cream sandwich or hot dog.

“I live and work in the city, and the High Line has become my favorite spot to take friends when they visit. It's perfect for any age – from visiting grandparents to little preschoolers. The food carts have made the High Line a place to hang out for an hour... or an entire afternoon. Melt Bakery is usually a favorite (with a close second to the hot dogs at Bark).”

Thanks, Rhesa. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

Take part in the August photo contest by sharing your photos on Twitter and Instagram using @highlinenyc and the hashtag #shareameal.
