Crews have cleared the High Line's paths, and the park is open to the public between Gansevoort and 14th Streets. We are working to open the remainder of the park as soon as possible. Please check back or follow @highlinenyc on Twitter for updates.

Photo of the Week: Evening in the 10th Avenue Square

Evenings offer an opportunity to experience the park and the surrounding cityscape in a unique way. Photo by Liz Ligon

August is a great time to stop by the High Line in the evening to experience amazing sunsets, grab a cold drink and a bite to eat from one of our High Line Food Vendors, and watch the transformation of the High Line’s tranquil landscape and the surrounding architecture as dusk falls over the city.

Liz Ligon captured this great summer shot of visitors enjoying a leisurely evening get-together in the 10th Avenue Square at sunset. From this unique vantage point on the High Line at West 17th Street, you can see traffic along 10th Avenue and Elad Lassry’s installation on HIGH LINE BILLBOARD – one of our many site-specific projects now on view at the High Line.
