It's all hands on deck when snow arrives in New York City, and we'd love your help!

Friends of the High Line staff members work diligently to clear snow from the High Line’s pathway, making the park safe for visitors to enjoy the unique winter landscape.

If you’d like to join us, all you need to do is bundle up and get ready for some fun wintertime exercise. Drop by the High Line Maintenance & Operations Office between 8:00 and 11:30 AM following a winter storm. We’ll give you a shovel and pair you with a High Line staff member to clear snow for as little or as long as you like. If you plan to join us, you can sign-up in advance to receive updates.
