In the Middle of a Delicious Season of High Line Food

We’re halfway through a delicious food season on the High Line. We’ve assembled some of our favorite food photos from the past year, and we think they'll make you as hungry as they made us. Before the season ends in mid-October, come to the park and enjoy gelato with your date under the stars, drink a freshly brewed cup of coffee in the still of early morning, or savor a slow-cooked, smoked brisket sandwich.

Bring a friend to Blue Bottle Coffee for a pick-me-up. Favorites include the “New Orleans” coffee, brewed overnight with chicory producing a sweet, nutty taste and served over ice. Commuters take Blue Bottle’s classic espresso drinks to go. Look out for some creative latte art!

Stop by The Taco Truck to pick up your collectible free tomatillo salsa recipe card. While you’re there, try the pasilla braised shredded-beef tacos with fresh cilantro and onions.

Melt Bakery is always deliciously pushing the boundaries of a conventional ice cream sandwich. The Ethereal is a pastis crackle cookie with fresh strawberry ice cream. The strawberries are handpicked in upstate New York.

People’s Pops creates shave ice treats with seasonal fruit juices that will make your taste buds giddy.

Terroir at The Porch’s seasonal menu and Hudson River view is unmatched. Enjoy chef Marco Canora’s roasted beets with hazelnuts; ricotta and market greens sandwich; and garlic and herbs French fries. All beers are brewed locally in New York and their Riesling wine series ensures a full house.

L’Arte del Gelato gelato alla frutta is made from the ripest fresh fruit available. But they look to Italy for certain ingredients: their popular pistacchio gelato is made with pistachios imported from Sicily.

Slightly floral balanced with a hint of sweetness and tartness, La Newyorkina’s hibiscus paletas are a must-try. Other favorites include mango chile, cucumber lime, and coconut.
