Would you like to help us clear the park's walkways following winter storms? Sign up to join the 2015 Snow Team.

After snowstorms the High Line is a magical place, and Friends of the High Line works quickly to remove the snow and ice from the paths and stairs so our visitors can safely walk in the park and enjoy the beautiful winter landscape. If you would like to help us with this tremendous task, please sign up here so that we can send you a notification email in case your help is needed following a storm. Drop-in volunteers are also welcome.

Between 8:00 and 11:00 AM on the morning after a snowstorm, volunteers meet at the High Line's headquarters, located at 820 Washington Street. We will provide you with a shovel and a pair of gloves, and you will be assigned a spot on the park to clear snow for as little or as long as you like. Refreshments will also be served.

All volunteers will be asked to sign a waiver and wear a High Line Volunteer ID. Volunteers must be at least 14 years old, and those between the ages of 14 and 17 must be accompanied by a caregiver. If you have any questions, please email us at volunteers@thehighline.org.
