This season has been a harsh one, and though we may be dreaming about the coming spring, the bright beauty of winter is undeniable. This image by High Line photographer Steven Severinghaus, aptly titled Winter Sunbathing, caught our eye this week not only for the warm tones of golden-hour light, but also the atypical activity. Winter visitors get a special glimpse of the park without the warm weather crowds, and enjoy prime lounging spots on the Diller – von Furstenberg Sundeck.
