Join architectural historian Andrew S. Dolkart for a walk along the High Line to discuss the buildings and neighborhoods seen from this unique vantage point.

Andrew is the Director of the Historic Preservation Program and the James Marston Fitch Associate Professor of Historic Preservation. He has been active in historic preservation in New York City for over thirty years, both as a staff members at the Landmarks Preservation Commission, as a freelance consultant, and as a teacher. He has worked extensively with neighborhood groups on preservation efforts and has completed scores of National Register nominations, Landmark Commission designation reports, and historic resource surveys for environmental reviews. Andrew has also written extensively about his passion, the architecture and development of New York City, including his most recent award-winning book, "The Row House Reborn: Architecture and Neighborhoods in New York City, 1908-1929."
