Every visit to the High Line brings a new surprise. Come to the elevated public park by the romantic hour of 5:00 PM on Saturday, April 30, and take part in the High Line Book Exchange Project, presented as part of The Seventh Annual PEN World Voices of International Literature.

Select your favorite title

STEP THREE:
Purchase an extra copy of this book at your preferred bookstore (new or used)

STEP FOUR:
Come to the High Line by the romantic 5:00 PM hour

STEP FIVE:
Find the festival table located on the High Line under The Standard, New York, and pick up an Ex Libris commemorating the festival Book Exchange Project

STEP SIX:
Stroll the High Line and choose someone to whom to bestow your book

STEP SEVEN:
Politely approach the person and present the book

STEP EIGHT:
Walk away

This High Line Public Program is presented as part of The Seventh Annual PEN World Voices of International Literature. Between April 25 and May 1, 2011, more than 100 writers from 40 nations convene in New York City to celebrate the power of the writer’s voice as a bold and vital element of public discourse. Dare to view the world from a fresh perspective at stages across the city, including the festival’s hubs -- The Standard, New York and the High Line.
