Step to the High Line Festival

Tonight's 6:30 PM Step to the High Line performance has been moved to the Chelsea Market Passage, on the High Line just south of 16th Street.

Archibishop Molloy's High Line School Boys, Queens, NY will transform the High Line into their stage as part of a week-long stepping festival. Step is form of creative expression that celebrates the power and energy of youth through synchronized stomping, clapping, calling, and other corporal sounds. Each day of the week, a different team will perform their step routine, culminating in a showcase of all five teams.

The performance schedule is as follows:

Goodwill Beacon Finest Ladies, Queens, NY — Monday, June 13
P.L.A.Y.E.R.S. Club, Bronx, NY — Tuesday, June 14
Archbishop Molloy's High School Girls, Queens, NY — Wednesday, June 15
Organized C.H.A.O.S., Brooklyn Technical High School, Brooklyn, NY — Thursday, June 16
Archibishop Molloy's High Line School Boys, Queens, NY — Friday, June 17

The festival will culminate in a showcase on Saturday, June 18 from 4:00 - 5:00 PM of all five teams, along with special guest Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, New York City.
