Talk: Landmarks of New York at the Parrish Art Museum
Friends of the High Line Co-Founders Joshua David and Robert Hammond will discuss the High Line with Barbaralee Diamonstein-Spielvogel, a founding director of the internationally admired, elevated park in the Meatpacking district. Diamonstein-Spielvogel was the first Director of Cultural Affairs for New York City, and also she served the longest term Landmarks Commissioner in the city’s history. The talk is in conjunction with the exhibition Landmarks of New York, that will open on Saturday, June 23.
