Memorial Day: High Line Information Station

EnlargeHigh Line Field Station

Whether it’s your first walk or your hundredth visit, High Line Greeters help you discover a new side of the High Line.

The High Line Information Station is a mobile information cart staffed by High Line Greeters, a group of knowledgeable volunteers who can answer your questions and provide information about the park’s history, design, landscape, and more. You can also pick up free resources here, like seasonal High Line Art maps and materials on upcoming free events and activities for the whole family.

The High Line Information Station is open 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from May 1 through October 5. The High Line Field Station will be open on Memorial Day (Monday, May 26) from 1:00 – 7:00 PM.

Chelsea Market Passage
On the High Line at West 16th Street

The High Line Field Station is located within the Chelsea Market Passage – the semi-enclosed passageway on the High Line between West 15th and West 16th Streets – where you will also find delicious food offerings for purchase. Terroir at The Porch is a full-service, open-air café that serves seasonal salads and sandwiches, along with some of the region’s best wines and beers. A selection of sweet and savory vendors serve tacos, savory snacks, gelato, ice pops, coffee, and more. All food vendors are open daily. Enjoy a snack or meal while you’re visiting the High Line – there’s something for everyone. Learn more.

The High Line Information Station is presented by Friends of the High Line. REI is a Supporting Sponsor of the High Line Volunteer Program.
