It's Happening: Snow Sculpt-Off Begins Sunday at Noon

There is a thick sheet of ice below the snow on the High Line. In the interest of visitor safety, the park will remain closed on Saturday, February 9 to allow Friends of the High Line staff and volunteers to complete the snow and ice removal. The Snow Sculpt-Off will be postponed until Sunday, February 10.
