Tour: What’s in Bloom: A Nature Walk on the High Line

EnlargeWhat's in Bloom: A Nature Walk on the High Line

In keeping with the vision of Dutch planting designer Piet Oudolf, the High Line’s landscape undergoes dramatic transitions through the four seasons, with new foliage and blooms on view each month. Take a walking tour with a High Line Gardener to get an insider’s look at the park’s unique horticultural design, and learn what it takes to maintain a garden elevated above the streets of New York City.

This High Line Program is open to visitors of all ages. Tickets are $15, or $10 for members of Friends of the High Line.

LOCATION
The meeting location will be provided in the confirmation email following your ticket purchase. PURCHASE TICKETS.

Before your walking tour, enjoy lunch or a snack on the High Line. On the High Line between West 15th and West 16th Streets you will find tacos, gelato, ice pops, and more seasonal treats from our food vendors, as well as Terroir at The Porch, a full-service, open-air café serving beer, wine, and small plates with sweeping views of the Hudson River. Learn more.

This walking tour is presented by Friends of the High Line. Sign up for the High Line E-News to get news updates, special invitations, and more from Friends of the High Line.
