Thank you for your interest in volunteering on the High Line. Volunteers have always played a critical role in FHL's public programs, horticulture, administrative tasks and helping to raise the funds necessary to maintain the High Line.

Applications will be accepted at all times, but please note that there are a limited number of volunteer opportunities available. If no positions are available, you will be placed on a waitlist after your application is received. All applicants will be contacted regarding the status of their application.

To become a Friends of the High Line volunteer, please print and complete our brief Volunteer Application, and remit to the address enclosed in the form.

GREETER PROGRAM
One of our most exciting volunteer opportunities is the High Line Greeter Program. Greeters are a group of committed volunteers who engage park visitors, answer questions, and provide information to the public during busy periods between Thursdays and Sundays on the High Line. Greeters are based at a mobile information cart known as the Field Station, which contains High Line pamphlets, activities for kids, self-guides, story books, and information about becoming a member of Friends of the High Line.
