Horticulture Tour of Battery Park

Reception with Photographer Shelley Seaccombe

Reception with Hudson River and High Line photographer Shelley Seaccombe at Westbeth Gallery. Presented in conjunction with Friends of Hudson River Park. 55 Bethune Street, between Washington and West Streets.

Children's Photography Project
Throughout the summer
Children in the High Line neighborhood will use disposable cameras to take pictures of people and things around them they see as important or interesting. The program will culminate in a show of the photographs. Watch FHL's E-mail Newsletter for details.

Green Roof Class

Movie Underneath the High Line

Outdoor movie screening under the High Line with Rooftop Films. Movie to be announced in our E-mail Newsletter. Next to the Bortolami Dayan Gallery, 510 West 25th Street, between 10th and 11th Avenues. Tickets: $8 at the door.

Native Plant Class

Class led by Bradley Roeller, Manager of Grounds and Display Gardens at the Institute of Ecosystem Studies. RSVP for meeting location.

Volunteer Planting Day
Mid-summer

Dinner, Drinks, and Design Presentations on Pier 63
Wednesday, August 23, 6:30 PM
Dinner and drinks at Pier 63 Maritime, followed by design presentations on the High Line and a future section of Hudson River Park at 8:00 PM. Presented in conjunction with Friends of Hudson River Park. West 23rd Street and the Hudson River. Food and beverages available for sale on the pier.

Family Block Party
Saturday, September 16, 12:00 Noon
Block party featuring kids' activities, local food, art, kite-making, buttons, music, and crafts, presented by Friends of the High Line and Hudson Guild. West 17th Street between Ninth and Tenth Avenues; no RSVP required.
