The Greeter Coordinator will be the on-site supervisor of High Line Greeters, a group of 30-40 volunteers and a small group of paid youth. Reporting to the Program and Outreach Manager, the Greeter Coordinator will work Wednesday through Sunday, from May through October. The Greeter Coordinator will train Greeters to be the eyes and ears of visitors' experiences on High Line. Candidates must feel comfortable interfacing with the various stakeholders that will visit the High Line, including children, teens, adults of all ages, and people of all backgrounds.

The High Line's Maintenance Technician is a critical member of the Maintenance & Operations team. Reporting to the Supervisor of Maintenance & Operations, the Maintenance Technician will take a leading role in troubleshooting, making adjustments to control systems throughout the park, and ensuring the daily functioning of the High Line's mechanical, electrical, plumbing, irrigation, and security systems.

The Gardener is a central position in the year-round care and maintenance of the park's landscape and grounds. The Gardener will be responsible for all aspects of monitoring, caring for, and reporting on designated park zones, including diverse plantings, hardscape elements, and public use of the area. The High Line is to be maintained sustainably, in a first-class condition, commensurate with the world-class design and the mission of both FHL and the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation.

The High Line Groundskeeper is an integral member of both the Maintenance & Operations and Horticulture teams, reporting to the Supervisor of Maintenance & Operations. The Groundskeeper's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to seasonal grounds duties; trash and litter removal; composting, seeding and aeration of turf; power washing planks; and equipment maintenance.

The High Line Custodian is an integral part of the High Line's Maintenance & Operations crew, reporting to the Supervisor of Maintenance & Operations. The Custodian's tasks involve maintaining cleanliness of the entire High Line, both topside and at street-level, including public gathering areas, bathrooms, entry ways, elevators and stairs, drinking fountains, and Maintenance & Operations facility.

The High Line Horticulture Intern will be an employee of Friends of the High Line and is an integral member of FHL's Horticulture & Park Operations (HPO) team. Under the general supervision of FHL's Vice President of HPO and the Deputy Director of HPO, the Horticulture Intern will play an important role in maintaining the High Line park and its diverse plantings during the spring and summer seasons.
