On Monday, August 22 at 6:30 PM, the ladies from the Gotham Girls Roller Derby will hold a scrimmage at the High Line Rink — Made for All by UNIQLO. Dressed in red and black, two teams comprised of league skaters from the Bronx Gridlock, Queens of Pain, Brooklyn Bombshells, and Manhattan Mayhem will compete for one hour, showing off their blocking and jamming skills to the public for free.

The rink will be closed to public skating during the scrimmage. Visitors are encouraged to arrive early to secure a viewing spot. After the teams finish the scrimmage, visitors can grab their own skates and join the Gotham Girls for a skate around the rink. Regular admission fees apply.
