October 5: Robert Hammond to Speak at the High Line

EnlargeHigh Line Aerial

In 1999, Robert Hammond founded Friends of the High Line with Joshua David to advocate for saving the High Line from demolition. Twelve years later, Friends of the High Line is now the non-profit conservancy that operates the park, and continues to advocate for the final section, the High Line at the West Side Rail Yards, to be opened to the public.

Join us on the High Line on Wednesday, October 5 at 7:00 PM to hear Robert discuss his experience. A short Q&A will follow the presentation.

This is the final talk in a series about the past, present, and future of the High Line at the Rail Yards. Visit our Event Calendar for more information.
