The park is currently open daily between 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM. Beginning Monday, October 1, the park will close one hour earlier, at 10:00 PM.

Relax on the Diller – von Furstenberg Sundeck, check out the autumnal blooms, view the latest High Line Art installations, enjoy a snack from one of our food vendors, or take a quiet evening stroll.

On Thursday, September 20, for a historic moment in the history of the High Line, we joined a small group of elected officials, including Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Speaker Christine Quinn, supporters, and friends for a ceremonial groundbreaking on the third and final section of the High Line at the Rail Yards.

The third and final section of the High Line at the Rail Yards is currently closed to visitors, but we will be opening the gates for you to explore the site this October.

It’s part of the 10th Annual openhousenewyork Weekend, and this year, UNIQLO has helped to extend this popular walking tour to two weekends, so there will be twice as many opportunities to explore the High Line at the rail yards.

Take part in a collective performance that invites you to walk on, touch, and alter a one-mile-long celluloid film strip adhered to the entire length of the High Line’s pathway. The film will be screened on the High Line later this year.

Join us on Monday, September 10 to meet Dan Barasch and James Ramsey, the Co-Founders of the Lowline. They will give a presentation detailing the Lowline’s history and their vision to redevelop it as the world’s first underground park.
