RECENT PRESS: DIA AND PROMENADE PLANTÉE IN NEW YORK TIMES
On August 7, The New York Times published a major article about Dia Art Foundation's proposal for a new museum on Gansevoort Street, at the southern end of the High Line. The article ran on the front page of the Sunday Arts & Leisure Section and featured a large color image from the High Line's preliminary design. On August 21, the Times published an article about the Promenade Plantée, the elevated rail viaduct in Paris that was converted to a park in 1998. Since FHL's inception, the Promenade Plantée has been an important precedent and model for the High Line project.
