Beginning on Monday, December 14, the High Line will be open daily from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

The High Line will remain open year-round. Late fall and winter is a great time to visit the High Line. We encourage you to come up and experience the changing landscape of the park in all seasons.

Please check our Web site regularly, as we will update it with information you should know about park conditions and hours of operation during inclement weather.

December 17: Holiday Singing With the NYC Lab School

The NYC Lab School High School Chorus celebrates the holiday season with a free outdoor concert on the High Line on Thursday, December 17, at 5:30 PM.

Join us for an early evening performance of seasonal and Broadway selections. The chorus will perform two sets, at 5:30 PM and 6:00 PM, on the High Line in the Chelsea Market Passage, near 15th Street. Closest entrances are the stairs at 14th Street and 10th Avenue, and the stairs and elevator at 16th Street and 10th Avenue.

This program is free and open to the public. No RSVP is necessary. Hot cocoa and gingerbread by Tom Colicchio's Craft Sweets will be available for purchase at the event for $3.

Introducing "Ask a Gardener"

Our High Line gardeners (Maeve, Andi, Kaspar, Kyla, and Johnny), are a great resource for information on High Line horticulture, and now we'd like to share them with you! You can go directly to the source for any planting-related questions by emailing our gardening team.

Please submit questions to gardener@thehighline.org

Please be sure to include your name and city along with your question. If selected, the answer to your question will be posted on our Ask a Gardener page. Please note: due to the high volume of questions we receive, we are unable to answer every question.

Limited-Time Target To-Go Store Under the High Line December 11-13

If you're near the southern entrance to the High Line next weekend, you'll probably notice a temporary structure set up on the corner of Gansevoort and Washington Streets, right underneath the High Line. It's Target To-Go, a temporary holiday shopping event, in place Friday, December 11, through Sunday, December 13, and open daily from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

This holiday season location is made possible by Target and the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation. Target has made a substantial donation towards the ongoing maintenance and operations of the High Line. It has also made a charitable donation of its products to low-income New Yorkers.
