Letter from Edsel Williams, Auction Curator
This night would not be possible without the support of the artists and galleries listed on the following page; and Phillips de Pury & Company. To them I extend my deepest thanks for donating their art, their efforts, and their time to support the efforts of Friends of the High Line (FHL). These artists and their galleries have given art for this auction at unprecedented levels of quality. They have put their best foot forward, and in doing so have made an invaluable contribution towards the goal of creating a new, and unexpected park in New York City. Please join these artists, their representatives, Phillips de Pury, and FHL by participating in this auction. There is a variety of great and very collectable art available here – we hope something for every collector. Thank you for your interest and for your support of this project every step of the way.
