At a June 15, 2005, City Council hearing, FHL will be speaking about the need to preserve and reuse the High Line as the City's proposed West Chelsea rezoning goes through the public review process. We hope you will write letters in support of the rezoning's treatment of the High Line to City Council Speaker Gifford Miller (download sample text).
It won't take long. We've provided sample text below. All you have to do is print the letter onto your stationary and send it to us. Of course, you are welcome to personalize these letters if you wish.
FHL is also looking for people to speak at the City Council hearing on June 15. If you are interested in speaking, please contact Rick at (212) 206-9922 or e-mail at rick@thehighline.org.
