

On July 17 and 18, Friends of the High Line hosted Family Arts Weekend on the High Line — two days of free arts programs designed for kids of all ages. The programs were part of Target Arts & Wonder Free Family Event, offered at more than 80 cultural and art institutions in 30 cities throughout the country.

Target Arts & Wonder Free Family Event is part of the Target commitment to arts and education. Since 1946, the company has given 5 percent of its income to support education, the arts, social services and volunteerism. Today, that adds up to more than $3 million a week.
