There is a new way to purchase fresh, seasonal fruits and vegetables in West Chelsea. Friends of the High Line is partnering with Fulton Youth of the Future, a non-profit community organization within the Robert Fulton Houses that helps teens gain career skills, to bring the first greenmarket to the High Line as part of High Line Food [1], a program connecting New Yorkers to the region's sustainable farms. The teens are starting small, with a market table open at The Lot [2] every Tuesday from 2:00 to 7:00 PM until October.
