Toning up has never been this easy or fun!
Starting tomorrow morning, Friends of the High Line will be offering two FREE fitness and movement classes on the High Line.
There are two class options: the Feldenkrais Method and Pilates Fusion. The Feldenkrais Method blends movement, breath, and vision to increase flexibility and coordination. Pilates Fusion builds strength, flexibility, and endurance through targeted movements that create a total body experience.
Occuring every Tuesday morning between May 17 and July 6, the classes are being offered in partnership with Shape Up NYC , a new program that helps prevent obesity by using volunteers with expertise in fitness to provide free classes. Each class will last 45 minutes and take place in the 14th Street Passage (on the High Line, between 13th and 14th Streets.) The Feldenkrais Method class starts at 9:00 AM. The Pilates Fusion class starts at 10:00 AM. Park visitors may participate in both classes. No RSVP required. Visit our Events Calendar  to learn more.
