New York Public Library Discussion on High Line Programs [1]
Submitted by Auzelle Epeneter on
Tonight at the Mid-Manhattan Library, join Danya Sherman, Deputy Director of Programs & Education at the High Line, for a discussion about how the High Line's public programs are engaging the neighborhood.
"I've seen the High Line change from a place we wanted to save that captured our imaginations, to a construction site, to a well loved park," Danya says. "This talk will cover how the High Line has always been a neighborhood connector—from the time that it was built, saved from demolition, designed with community input, and is now being enjoyed by the public."
