Joel Sternfeld High Line Poster
The evocative photographs of Joel Sternfeld's 2001 series, "Walking the High Line," inspired New Yorkers to rally together to save the High Line when it was under threat of demolition. The photographs captured the wild, self-seeded landscape that grew up naturally after the trains stopped running.
This 18" x 24" full-color poster features "Railroad Artifact," one of the most famous images of the series. It shows a view of the High Line near the West Side Rail Yards, looking East along 30th Street, with the Empire State Building in the background.
