Walking the High Line, 2nd Edition
When photographer Joel Sternfeld published the first edition of Walking the High Line in 2001, his beautiful, melancholy images brought the public in contact with the High Line's otherworldly self-seeded landscape for the first time. This stunning collection of High Line landscape photographs, by a true American landscape master, was instrumental in gaining support for the preservation of the High Line.
