Tenement is a small building that riffs playfully on the ghost of the tenement housing once ubiquitous in the area. With a bright canopy on all sides, this impossible dream house will function as a basic shelter, offering seating set into cool alcoves, ramp access, climbing footholds for kids, a viewing platform, staircase structures, and swings. For this project, the artist aims at producing a public artwork that would resist monumentality.
