Luis Berríos-Negrón (b. 1971, San Juan, Puerto Rico, United States) lives and works in Berlin, Germany. Juracán is a pared-down giant carnival swing ride covered in plants; the work references hurricanes and other extreme weather patterns whose increase rings the warnings of climate change. An audio description of the artwork by the artist can be found here.
