Shahryar Nashat (b. 1975, Geneva, Switzerland) lives and works in Los Angeles, California, United States. Replace Me is an empty museum-style vitrine onto which the artist collages images throughout the exhibition; the images are of war, death, and mourning, largely drawn from NYC museum collections.
