Yu Yang (b. 1979, Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, China) lives and works in Beijing, China. Night is an abstract geometric composite sculpture representing the beauty and balanced geometry of the night sky. The artist chose to represent the night sky when imagining that when the High Line is in daylight, it is nighttime where he is, on the opposite side of the world in China, and vice-versa.
