Friends of the High Line

Friends of the High Line (FHL) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and reuse of the High Line, a 1.5-mile-long historic elevated rail structure on the West Side of Manhattan.

Founded in 1999, FHL is supported by nearly all the elected officials representing the High Line neighborhoods, numerous civic organizations, and thousands of preservationists, open-space advocates, design professionals, and civic-minded individuals and businesses from New York and across the United States. FHL is located in the Gansevoort Market Historic District, near the southern terminus of the High Line. See FHL's contact information.
