Winter – either you love it or you hate it.
While we can't say we enjoy shoveling more than our fair share of snow (a whole one and a half miles of it!), walking the park in wintertime never gets old, not even for us Friends of the High Line staff members.
These recent photos by High Line Photographer Mike Tschappat show another side of the winter season, one we all usually miss: beautiful sunsets. It's a magical time anytime of year, but often in winter, we're either still stuck at work (thanks, daylight savings time-standard time switch) or avoiding the colder temperatures that come with darkness.
Enjoy these photos, and maybe we'll win you over to Team Winter!
