CALL FOR IDEAS

Thank you to everyone who has supported and participated in the Call for Ideas program! In 2025, we’ll be evaluating the program and redesigning the process to best support community needs and secure funding that ensures the program’s sustainability for years to come. Please stay tuned for updates—we look forward to sharing more with you soon!

The Call for Ideas was piloted in 2024, the High Line’s 15th anniversary year. The program takes inspiration from the grassroots, community-driven history of the High Line and our organizational aspiration to continue to surprise and delight New Yorkers—through community-focused programming, thought-provoking art, innovative ideas for improving New York City, and more. The High Line was once a long-shot idea itself, a dream that came to fruition through community support. Now, through the Call for Ideas, we would like to leverage the platform of the High Line for like-minded community partners.
