  • Resilience in the Time of Bullsh*t with Harriet’s Apothecary
    30-minute workshops starting at 10:15am, 11am, 11:45am, and 12:15pm
Explore herbal remedies, mindfulness practices, and spells that support cultivating bodily resilience. We’ll focus specifically on herbs that increase our capacity to recognize trauma, restore balance, increase strength and stamina, and resist physical, emotional, and environmental stressors. Modeled after the Mississippi Freedom schools of the 1960s, we’ll ground our learning in Black radical traditions, and draw specifically from Black queer feminist praxis and wisdom from our ancestors and present day warriors.
  • Self Care 101: Boundaries as Self Care with MINKA Brooklyn
    30-minute workshops starting at 10:30am, 11am, 11:30am, 12pm
Work with the energies of yarrow and mugwort. Explore what it means to have boundaries in a place like New York City and how setting boundaries opens us up to experience our relationships to each other and life more fully.
  • Herbal Tarot Reading with MINKA Brooklyn
Contrary to what you might have heard, tarot is not a fortune-telling tool; rather it is a way for you to get insights into your own psyche with the help of the images that appear on the cards that show up for you. Come get a mini herbal tarot reading from MINKA practitioners.
  • Herbal Honeys: Hands-On Medicine Making with Moon Mother Apothecary
Create your own medicinal, herbal honey using a variety of plants & local honeys. Led by community organizer and spiritual herbalist, Suhaly Bautista-Carolina of Moon Mother Apothecary.
  • Plant Medicine: Our Ancestral Gift with Sacred Vibes Apothecary
Learn about plant medicine at this workshop led by Karen Rose, of Sacred Vibes Apothecary.
  • Pop-Up Clinic with Herbal Underground
Herbal Underground herbalists will offer mini consultations (approximately 1/2 hour) to provide personalized nutritional, herbal, or lifestyle suggestions to accommodate your health and wellness needs. Swing by to address a specific issue, to buttress overall health, or even if you’re just curious to see what it’s like to meet with an herbalist! Herbal Underground is an herbalist collective that works with growers, educators, and makers to protect the tradition, plants, integrity, and economic accessibility of nature’s original medicine.
  • Kitchen as Medicine with Oko Farms Aquaponics Center
Learn how to turn your everyday pantry items into useful remedies with Yemi Amu, co-founder and farm manager at Oko Farms Aquaponics Center.
  • Medicine Wheel Garden Collaborative Workshop
Create your own “plant” using a variety of materials found both on and off the High Line and add it to a collective Medicine Wheel garden.
  • Ask A Gardner with High Line Horticulture
Drop-in throughout the Wellness Fair to ask an expert gardener from High Line Horticulture team your questions on plant care, medicinal plants, and any other gardening quandaries you may have. While you’re there, take a goody bag of medicinal plant seeds home with you.
