Bios

Greg Corbino, Artist and High Line Educator
Greg Corbino a transdisciplinary artist, puppeteer, and High Line Teaching Artist. His set and costume design work for theater has been called “gorgeously baroque” by The New Yorker and “crafty and audacious” by the New York Times. Creative collaborators include Peter Schumann and The Bread and Puppet Theater, Reverend Billy and The Stop Shopping Choir, Greenpeace USA, Riverkeeper, Jennifer Miller and Circus Amok, Xaviera Simmons, Becca Blackwell, and Carmelita Tropicana. His design work has been featured at Soho Repertory Theater, The Architectural League of New York, the Queens Museum, the Leslie Lohman Museum of Art, the Brooklyn Academy of Music, and the Smithsonian Institution. He was the creative director of the Spooktacular! at the Queens Museum from 2015 – 2019 and is thrilled to serve as the Creative Director for High Line Halloween this year.

Brass Queens
Brass Queens is a female-led New York-based brass band with an all-female horn section that has been dominating the brass band scene since 2019. The band has developed a signature style that sits right at the intersection of the Big Apple and the Big Easy. Their sound is deeply inspired by and pays homage to the New Orleans brass band tradition while injecting the upbeat, multifaceted energy of their New York home into each performance. The result is a nonstop party: a Brass Queens show will have you singing along to classic pop hits, dancing your heart out to reggaeton, and feeling like you’ve been transported to Frenchman Street.

Jenny Romaine and Eleonor Weil
Jenny Romaine and Eleonor Weil bring flutes, accordions, songs, and drums to the ancient tradition of dressing up for Halloween! Only once a year do they transform themselves into Salty, the 400-year-old castaway and his trusted sidekick the Drunken Sailor to share their Hudson River ditties, crankies, and spooky fun sing-a-longs. You’ve gotta see it to believe it, and you won’t believe it when you see it!

Roselle Hayward and The Savvy Soul Line Dancers
A group of passionate dancers aged from 60 to 80 who have been dancing for 15 years or more. We have performed at many events throughout the community. We believe dancing is good for the soul and keeps us in good health!

Ashley Brockington
Ashley Brockington has immersed herself in the world of Tarot for over 30 years. Ashley’s readings are filled with high energy, fun, and encouragement, focusing on growth and insight rather than fear. She believes that studying the Tarot is a powerful act of remembering our innate wisdom and intuition. Through engaging sessions, Ashley helps clients unlock the messages hidden in the cards, empowering them to align with their highest selves and embrace the opportunities for transformation that lie ahead.
