Park update: The section of the High Line between 30th St. and 11th Ave. and 34th St. and 12th Ave. is temporarily closed.
Hear the story behind New York City’s park in the sky. Join us for a free 75-minute long tour led by High Line Docents, knowledgeable volunteer guides who offer you an insider’s perspective on the park’s history, design, and landscape.
Free public tours take place twice a week on Tuesdays at 6:30pm and Saturdays at 10am, between April and October. In September and October, the Tuesday evening tour begins at 5:30pm.
Space is limited. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to guarantee a spot.
Tours are subject to cancellation due to weather. Check @highlinenyc on Twitter for updates prior to arriving at the park.
