Enjoy a whole day of family fun on the High Line! Get your hands dirty in our mobile garden, create a large-scale art installation with an artist, hear stories from everyone’s favorite librarian, design custom-made structures with the Children’s Workyard Kit, and watch an outrageous variety show with the performers of
Whoop Dee Doo! Each month features a different theme for the Make It! series. This program is geared toward children ages 0-12.

In May, our first program of the series will kick off exploring how plants grow on the High Line.

Schedule of events:

10:00 – 11:00 AM: Storytime with Librarian Amalia Butler especially for ages 0-5 years old

11:00 AM – 2:00 PM: Ongoing activities: mobile garden, art project, and building activity

12:00 – 12:30 PM: Variety Show by Whoop Dee Doo

1:00 – 1:30 PM: Variety Show by Whoop Dee Doo (repeat)

All children must be attended by a caregiver at all times.
