Saturday, August 21, 1 - 3pm
Saturday August 28, 1 - 3pm
Location
The Spur, on the High Line at 30th Street at 10th Avenue

Roll up your sleeves and express yourself through art. All are invited to our drop-in workshops, where you can paint, draw, sculpt, and more. We’ll provide everything you need—including support from the High Line Education team—you just need to bring your creativity.

These events are free and open to all ages. No RSVP required; drop in at any time.

Weekend-specific highlights include:

August 14, 2021
Medicinal Sachet
Select aromatic herbs and flowers to create your own medicinal plant sachet. With colorful art supplies embed your sachet with a written intention or visual symbols to support your visions for your future.

August 21, 2021
Flower arrangement still life drawings & watercolor paintings
Build your own flower arrangement using flowers, grasses and other natural materials found both on and off the High Line, then hone in on your focus and observation skills through drawing and painting your own still life.

August 28, 2021
Ornamentation
Use natural and found materials to create a hanging sculpture for your home or design a wearable adornment that inspires you to celebrate yourself or your home!

Please note that the High Line has a timed-entry reservation system on weekends. For entry at access points other than those along 30th Street, make a timed-entry reservation. No separate reservation is needed to access the event.
