Teen Night: New York Nostalgia

Friday, May 19, 2023
4 – 8pm
Location
On the High Line in the Chelsea Market Passage, between 15th and 16th Streets

Join us in celebrating the magic of New York City through eras and decades. This free, youth-led event will feature activities, art workshops, performances, an open-mic segment, snacks and food tastings, and dancing. We encourage you to wear items from your culture and make your presence the final ingredient at this tribute to the melting pot that we call home. Note: While all are welcome, this is a teen-led event, with activities geared towards youth ages 14 – 21.

Advance registration is encouraged. Walk-ups are welcome if the event is not at capacity.

RSVP

This event takes place on the High Line’s Chelsea Market Passage on the High Line between 15th and 16th Streets. Since the event is in a sheltered area, it will proceed rain or shine. The nearest elevator to the venue is located at 14th Street and 10th Avenue. Elevator access is also available near the corner of Gansevoort Street and Washington Street. See elevator status updates.

We encourage all persons with disabilities to attend. To request additional information regarding accessibility or accommodations at a program, please contact programs@thehighline.org. Program venues are accessible via wheelchair, and ASL interpretation can be arranged three weeks in advance.
