Park update: From June 16 – 20, the section of the High Line from 23rd to 30th Streets will be temporarily closed. Visitors may exit at those streets and walk along 10th Avenue to re-enter the park.

Step into the groove and join us on the High Line for Vinyl Nights, a celebration of NYC’s iconic dance, music, club, and DJ culture. Immerse yourself in the rhythms that shaped NYC’s legendary club scene, from Disco, Funk and Soul, House, Boogie, Latin, and the infectious energy of 80s and 90s Hip Hop. Presented by Rebecca Lynn, Vinyl Nights promises a joyful, inclusive dance party for all ages and generations. Let’s come together to celebrate “Everything New York” in a night filled with timeless tunes and unforgettable memories.
This program is part of the High Line’s Call for Ideas, an initiative that takes inspiration from the grassroots, community-driven history of the High Line to bring partner programs to life in the park.
About the DJs
Dance with Operator Emz, the founder of the legendary all 45s night, Mobile Mondays!, and DJ Misbehaviour—UK to BK—who came to NYC in 1999 and never looked back, going viral with over 27 million views spinning her favorite 90s Hip Hop at The Museum of City of New York.
In the case of inclement weather, the event will be moved to the rain date of Friday, October 4, 2024, from 6 – 9pm. We will add a note to the website by noon on the day of the original event and email all registered participants.
