Foundation & Government Support

Since the beginning, we have benefited from the support of foundations, government agencies, and elected officials in preserving the High Line and transforming it into a thriving public space. We are deeply grateful to our institutional partners for supporting our ambitious educational, art, and community-based programs, which serve hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers every year.

Supported Programs

Gardens

In caring for the High Line’s more than 100,000 plantings, our gardeners use ecologically-sensitive methods as part of our commitment to sustainability.

Art

We bring world-class contemporary art to the public, enlivening the park and sparking dynamic, rich conversations with wide audiences.

Education

Through educational enrichment programs, we engage thousands of NYC public school students each year.

Public Engagement

Our hundreds of free public programs invite New Yorkers to connect with neighbors, learn, and enjoy the park. We also offer programs for families, and job-training for local teens.

High Line Network

We’re sharing resources with our peers, and supporting a rising movement to turn under-used infrastructure into vibrant, equitable public space.
