The High Line gets a lot of hype, but it is just one example of the many ways community leaders and creative thinkers are reimagining public space. The Beyond the High Line series of free talks seeks to discuss the future of adaptive reuse projects and public open space around the world.
Presented by Friends of the High Line with support from The Seed Fund, this video features Enrique Peñalosa, former Mayor of Bogotá, Colombia, and Majora Carter, of MCG Consulting leading a panel discussion and answering audience questions about the process behind building and sustaining equality in public open space.
