HIGH LINE PERFORMANCE: Jesús "Bubu" Negrón, The Back Portrait

Negrón presents a new iteration of his ongoing drawing project wherein he draws the backs of willing visitors, and then gives the sitter the original drawing, keeping a photocopy for himself.

Every Tuesday, April through October, dusk to 30 minutes before park closes

Get up close and personal with the celestial bodies. Peer through high-powered telescopes with the Amateur Astronomers Association of New York.

"A Different World" Teen Summit

An evening for teens to come together and envision alongside artists, activists, organizers, and changemakers whose work focus on racial justice. There will be workshops, hands-on activities, performances, dancing, food and giveaways!

Tour the High Line with horticulturist and resident wildlife expert, Maryanne Stubbs. This tour will focus on how pollinators, migratory birds, and other wildlife use the habitat and forage provided by the High Line's gardens.

A performance, co-hosted by the Whitney and High Line Art, beginning with doll-making workshops in the lobby of the Whitney, traversing the museum’s outdoor area, and culminating in an itinerant performance by eight dancers on the High Line.
