Haunted High Line Halloween (Family Event)

The High Line is haunted with spooky characters from the elevated railway's industrial past! Haunted High Line Halloween offers a day of free community festivities in celebration of the fall season. Family fun for all ages.

Location: On the High Line, 14th - 16th Sts.

TOUR: Celebrating Autumn on the High Line

Every Tuesday in October, 9 - 10 AM & 5 - 6 PM

​Take a closer look at the autumn garden and examine how several featured moments are achieved over time.

Location: Meet below the High Line at the Gansevoort St. stairs

HIGH LINE TOUR: From Freight to Flowers

Tuesdays, 5:30 - 6:45 PM, Saturdays, 10 - 11:15 AM

Hear the story behind New York City's park in the sky from knowledgeable High Line Docents.

Location: On the High Line at Gansevoort St.


Every Tuesday, April through October, dusk to 30 minutes before park closes

Get up close and personal with the celestial bodies. Peer through high-powered telescopes with the Amateur Astronomers Association of New York.

Location: The Diller-von Furstenberg Sundeck, on the High Line at 14th St.

TIME LAPSE: Five Seasons

Thursday, November 2 2017 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Artist and filmmaker Thomas Piper captures the complex evolution of Piet Oudolf's planting designs in loops of time-lapse photography, projected publicly for the first time on the High Line.
